Your upcoming mock will consist of two papers.

Paper 1 - 1 hour

- The Living World

- UK Physical Landscapes (Rivers and Coasts)

Paper 2 - 1 hour 30 minutes

- Urban Issues and Challenges

- Fieldwork (Blackpool fieldwork)

In your Google Classroom, there is a wealth of resources which you need to use to prepare for these exams.

Use the PLC's to check understanding before targeting weak areas with the Knowledge Organisers and past paper questions.

Mock exams in March will be: English Language paper 1 and 2; English Literature Paper 1 (Macbeth and Christmas Carol)

There have been changes to the phrasing of some of the English language questions.  Therefore please use the updated resources, labelled as 2026 updates, first.  Other past exam papers are still relevant and useful, but some questions may need some slight adaptation.  Please use example materials to help you do this, or see your English teacher in advance for help.

GCSE and V-CERT PE students have had the opportunity to buy a revision guide that has all the relevant information as well as questions to check understanding.

Students can use SENECA as a tool for revision and have been set an extended task as well. For this mock exam, students will complete the past papers below that they will sit in the summer.

V-CERT PE-  Paper 1- Body Systems and Principles of Training in Health and Fitness.

GCSE PE-  Paper 1- The Human Body and Movement in Sport.

Paper 2- Socio-cultural Influences and Wellbeing in Sport.

SENECA

Students have access to SENECA. When lessons are based around theory, students have home learning tasks that are set weekly. These allow them to consolidate the information from year 10 and 11. There is also an ‘Open Task’ that students can work through at their own pace.
